C2C: Country To Country Festival 2014
Headlined by Zac Brown Band and Brad Paisley, Country To Country will return on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March next year.
The Dixie Chicks will join Zac Brown Band on the Saturday show. The Dixie Chicks are returning to the UK after eight years and have already expressed their happiness at playing the exciting festival. The Grammy award winning group have sold over 30 million albums and are one of the few acts to have multiple albums reach 'diamond' status. The Saturday line-up is completed by platinum-selling artist Dierks Bentley. The third youngest artist to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, Dierks Bentley's instantly recognisable voice and engaging music has gained many fans throughout the years and he is set to release his next album Riser shortly before the festival.
Joining Brad Paisley on Sunday 16th are Rascal Flatts and Chris Young. Rascal Flatts are now the most awarded Country group of the past decade and join the line-up fresh from their two sold out shows at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in July. Chris Young has recently released a new album entitled A.M. and said "I played a show in London last year and it was a blast. I always heard the fans in the UK were great and I'm here to tell you, they blew me away! The O2 is top of my list of UK venues to appear and I can't wait to come back and play music from the new album A.M!" of the opportunity to play the festival.
Fans can also expect two more special quests to be announced soon.
The weekend will be compared by broadcaster Bob Harris who shared his enthusiasm regarding the event. "It is a very exciting time for country music in the UK. C2C 2013 was a fantastic experience and next year's festival promises to be another massive milestone. I am thrilled to be comparing again and providing huge coverage on 'Bob Harris Country' on BBC Radio 2 when Nashville comes to London. See you at the O2!"
